B .Entry Requirements
The general entry requirements for all Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes are as follows:
1. Candidates are required to satisfy SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB entry requirements for the corresponding National Diploma programme.
2. Candidates are required to have completed a relevant National Diploma Programme at not below LOWER CREDIT classification.

i. Purchase N3,000 e-Tranzact PIN(Exclusive of Bank charges) from ANY Bank to complete the application form on-line;

iii. Click on the "2012/2013 Admission Applications" link at the left corner.
iv. Click “Want to print out application or complete your application”
v. Fill the application form provided. Ensure that you provide accurate data at all times. In addition to your personal information, you will be required to provide your WAEC/GCE/NECO result as well as previous educational history.
vi. Ensure you print out your Application form, fee payment receipt and keep them safely.
vii. You will be required to upload a colour passport photograph of NOT MORE THAN 20kb in size.
viii. Print your completed application form before submission. You will be required to present this at a later date, so keep it safely.
4. Successful candidates must adhere strictly to the registration procedure as highlighted on the Polytechnic website.

Passes in Physics or Electronics/Basic Electricity will be an advantage.
(vii) ND OFFICE TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings, which must include: English Language, and any four from the following: Business Methods, Economics/ Commerce, Typewriting, Shorthand, Principles of Accounts/ Book Keeping, Mathematics, History, Statistics, Literature-in-English, Government, Geography, Biology, CRK/Islamic Studies, any one science subject.
At least a pass in Mathematics is compulsory. OR
NABTEB: With at least five credits at one sitting, which must include English Language, Shorthand and Typing and two other subjects from the following: Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Biology, Economics or Social Studies.
(i) ND SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings, which must include: English Language, Mathematics and two subjects from Physics, Biology/ Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and one other subject from Technical Drawing, Metal and Wood-Work, Geography, Further Mathematics, , and Fine Art
At least a Pass in each of the three basic sciences i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics is required. A Pass in English Language is compulsory.
(ii) ND COMPUTER SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five (5) credits at two sittings, which must include Mathematics and a basic science, and any three of the following: Economics, English Language, Geography, Chemistry, Further/Additional Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Government/History and Yoruba/Hausa/Ibo Language.
Candidates are expected to have at least a pass in Physics and English Language. OR
NABTEB: With at least five credits at one sitting, which must include Mathematics, Physics and Basic Electronics and two subjects from the following: Biology, Chemistry, and General Metal Work.
At least a pass in English is compulsory.
(iii) ND FOOD TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with a minimum of five credits at two sittings, which must include Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology and any two subjects from: Physics, Economics, English Language, Additional/Further Mathematics, Statistics and Agricultural Science. At least Passes in Physics and English Language are compulsory.
(i) ND BUILDING TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings which must include: Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry and any three from the following: Economics, Technical Drawing, Fine Art, Chemistry, Geography, Wood-Work, Biology, Religious Knowledge, English Language and Building Construction and Physics.
At least a pass in English Language is compulsory while a pass in Fine Art or Technical Drawing will be an advantage. OR
NABTEB: With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include: Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry and General Woodwork, and two subject from the following: Economics, Biology and English Language.
At least a Pass in English Language is compulsory.
(ii) ND ESTATE MANAGEMENT
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings, which must include Mathematics, English Language and at least a basic science subject from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and two subjects from the following: Geography, Economics, Principle of Accounts, Literature in English, Metal Work, Wood Work, Art, Technical Drawing, Agricultural Science OR
NABTEB: With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include English, Mathematics and one basic science from Physics, Biology and Chemistry, and two subjects from the following: General Woodwork, General Metal Work, Economics, Building Engineering Drawing, and Principles of Accounts, Agricultural Science .

Applicants who possess the following qualifications may be considered for admission into Higher National Diploma programmes:
(i ). SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB entry requirements for the corresponding National Diploma Programmes;
(ii) The National Diploma with a minimum of LOWER CREDIT classification in the cognate National Diploma (ND) programme from any NBTE recognized Institutions;
(iii). Candidates must have at least one- year work experience in the field of specialization;
(iv) Candidates with Pass classification will be required to have atleast two (2) years work experience before he can be considered for admission.
